After-School Sewing
After-school classes offer a lot of flexibility for each students individual needs. This class is designed for students who have taken a beginning sewing class and are capable of working independently. It’s great when students know what they want to make, but I have plenty of ideas if needed. If you have any questions please be sure to contact me.
Winter After-School Classes
Because of my more limited schedule in the spring I decided to figure out the next two sessions at the same time as I wont be able to fit everyone into one session. I am hoping this way everyone can get at least one spot and if there's room I'm happy to have you do both. Please respond with your preference on the day and which session you would like. If you have any questions please let me know. I will respond to you as I have enough students response to put the schedule together.
What: 1.5 hr group classes of 3-4 stedents
When: March-April
Session 1
Monday: 3:30-5pm March 10,17,24,31
Tuesday: No after school class
Wednesday: 3:30-5pm March 12,19,26 April 2
Thursday: 3:30-5pm March 13,20,27, April 3
Friday: classes every other week spanning both sessions. 3:30-5 March 14,28, April 18 May
Where: Notions Garden Studio, O St. In Eureka.
Cost: $108
When: April-May
Session 2
Monday: 3:30-5pm April 21,28 May 5 12
Tuesday: No after school class
Wednesday: 3:30-5pm M April 23, 30, May 7,14
Thursday: 3:30-5pm April 24, May 1,8 15
Friday: classes every other week spanning both sessions. 3:30-5 March 14,28, April 18 May

All basic supplies are included. If extra supplies are needed for a bigger project we will discuss the extra cost or what to bring.
Pre Requisites: students must have taken a sewing safety and instruction class and be able to work independently.
Projects: Projects are chosen by the students. I have an assortment of projects to choose from that range from simple to complicated stuffed animals, bags, clothing, aprons, room decor, doll cloths and more. I let the student choose what inspires them and try to keep them learning new skills with each project even if all they want to sew is stuffed animals! On average a small project takes 1- 2 classes and larger more involved projects can take 4-6 classes or more. Times will vary based on skill and age.
