Open Sew for Kids

Friday April 21  12:00-3:00.

Join us in the studio for a one day open sewing studio for kids! Thats right we will be here to work with you on your project of choice. Bring a project you're working on or choose from one of ours. Bring your own materials or purchase some from us.

After signing up for this class we will contact you to ensure that you are bringing everything you need or we have the materials available for the project you choose.

This class is designed for students who can work independently.

Spring Break Camp

April 17-20 Monday-Thursday 9:30Am-12:30Pm  Ages 7+

Join us for a fun springtime week of sewing. This class will cover all the bases for learning to sew with a sewing machine and by hand . The projects will be simple enough for those that have never sewn before, but will introduce new projects for students who have recently been through one of our camps. Projects will be determined once enrollment is complete. Each project will teach basic techniques such as pivoting, back-stitching, curves, cutting and pinning, ironing  and more. 

  All materials are provided in the cost of the camp.

April 17-20 Monday-Thursday  1:30Pm-3:30Pm  Ages 7+

Join us for an introduction into the wonderful world of felting and hand sewing. This shorter afternoon camp will cover a variety of skills through felt related projects. We will work with pre-made felt as well as learn how to make our own felt through wet and needle felting techniques. 

We will make a felted ball, pin cushion, a stuffed animal and more. 

  All materials are provided in the cost of the camp.

Presidents week Camp

Presidents week Camp

We will be offering two camps this week Monday through Thursday 9am-12 and 1-4pm. 

9AM- 12PM Beginning sewing.

This class is designed for new sewists! It is a beginner level class for 7+yrs old. If you have taken a beginner classes in the past this is a good refresher corse. We will add advanced techniques where needed. We will be making a pillow, drawstring bag and more.

All materials provided.


1-4pm Up-cycling and Embellishing.
This class will take us beyond the basic sewing techniques and tap into our creative side. In this class we will be transforming old garments into beautiful new projects. We will be learning how to paint patterns on fabric and over-dye as well as continuing to work on our sewing construction skills. Ages 9+ 
 

 A supply list will be available prior to class.
