We’re making doll cloths this week! (or a doll if you would prefer)
Bring your favorite doll, bear or whatever fluffy creature needs a new outfit. We will be making simple clothing based on the size of our doll.
I will have a variety of patterns to choose from with lots of options for 18” American dolls. You are welcome to bring your doll or animal so they can try cloths on as we design them.
We will cover:
· Basic doll clothing construction.
· Using Velcro and other closures.
· Designing outfits based on the size of our creature.
· Hand stitching and embellishing.
Where:
Classes are held at our garden studio location on O street in Eureka, near Henderson Center. You will be emailed our exact location in our confirmation email one week prior to class.
What to bring:
Campers are welcome to bring water and a snack.
All materials are included in the cost of this camp.
If you have fabric you would like to use feel free to bring it along. We provide all materials needed for this class and have a good selection of fabric, however bringing a fabric you truly love is a great way to make a project even more memorable. Please keep to quilting weight cottons with no stretch.
Mornings can be chilly year round in our climate, please send your child with layers so they are comfortable.
wearing sturdy shoes is important for greater foot petal control ( flip flops are highly discouraged).
