Who:
Ages 6 and up. (children who are mature enough to sit quietly and follow instructions for the 2 hour class. We will be working with sharp needles!)
Pre-Requisite :
This class is open to all levels of hand sewers. Basic hand stitching skills are needed. Students must be able to work independently. No needle felting experience is necessary.
This is a hand sewing class so no machine experience is needed.
What we are making:
Bring your Imagination! We will be designing and sewing our own custom monsters. This class is open to all levels of sewers though some hand sewing experience is helpful. We will use our hand sewing skills and needle felting to create adorable, scary, lovable creatures.
Location:
Classes are held at our garden studio location on O street in Eureka, near Henderson Center. You will be emailed our exact location in our confirmation email one week prior to class.
All materials are included in the cost of this camp.
Please send your child with a small snack and water bottle each day.
Mornings can be chilly year round in our climate, please send your child with layers so they are comfortable.
Have your child wear sturdy shoes where the foot is not slipping around for greater foot petal control ( flip flops are highly discouraged).
If you have fabric you would like to use feel free to bring it along. We provide all materials needed for this class and have a good selection of fabric, however bringing a fabric you truly love is a great way to make a project even more memorable. Please keep to quilting weight cottons with no stretch.
